D. Aquisition Needs
1. Bicycles
We urgently need 20 bicycles with baskets fitted for the volunteers to do their rounds in the Home-Based Orphan and AIDS care programme as well as for the volunteers working at the centre, who have to travel in the community. Due to the nature of the roads, it is important that the bicycles are fitted with permanent or solid inner tubes.
2. Vehicle
Berakah urgently needs vehicles. The centre owns one small, pick-up truck that is currently running full time to serve the centre's daily needs. Transport needs of the volunteers and children, require a small van or bus, plus a four-by-four vehicle with canopy and towing hook.
Other Needs
Individuals or companies may have specific ideas concerning involvement and Berakah is open for such. If you have a talent or resource, even if it is not mentioned here, that you wish to invest, please feel free to contact us.
FOR SPECIFIC NEEDS OF THE HOME-BASED CARE OF ORPHANS AND VULNERABLE CHILDREN, PLEASE SEE THE OVC PAGE.
